How does Amazon Grocery ensure the freshness of my items?
We use temperature-controlled packaging and refrigerated delivery vehicles to ensure that your perishables, dairy, and frozen goods stay at the optimal temperature from our fulfillment center to your doorstep.
What is the delivery window for my grocery order?
During checkout, you can select a convenient 2-hour delivery window. Prime members in eligible regions may also have access to 1-hour delivery for an additional fee.
What happens if a product I ordered is out of stock?
You can choose to allow substitutions for individual items. If an item is unavailable, we will provide a similar product of equal or higher value, or simply refund you if you prefer no substitutions.
Can I return food or grocery items?
Due to safety and hygiene reasons, we generally do not accept returns on perishable food items. However, if an item arrives damaged or expired, you can request a full refund or replacement through 'Your Orders' within 30 days.
Is there a minimum order value for free delivery?
Free delivery thresholds vary by location and service. Typically, orders over $35 or $50 qualify for free delivery, while smaller orders may incur a service fee.
How can I track the status of my grocery delivery?
Once your shopper starts picking your items, you can track the progress in real-time via the Amazon app or website. You will receive a notification when the driver is nearby.
