Amazon Grocery Return Policy
Most unopened grocery items and perishables that arrive damaged or past their expiration date are eligible for a refund or replacement within 15 days of delivery. Due to food safety regulations, certain items may not require a physical return to be eligible for a refund.
Initiate Your Request
Visit 'Your Orders' on the Amazon app or website, select the grocery item you wish to return, and click on 'Return or Replace Items'.
Select Reason for Return
Choose the appropriate reason for the return, such as 'Damaged during transit' or 'Item expired', and upload a photo if prompted for quality assurance.
Choose Refund Method
Select whether you would like a refund to your original payment method or as an Amazon Gift Card balance for faster processing.
Follow Disposal Instructions
Check your email for specific instructions; for many food items, you may be asked to safely dispose of the product rather than shipping it back.
